With 1.5 TB – 3 TB capacity on a single cartridge and up 280 MB/s sustained throughput, you can backup an incredible 1 TB per hour. Whether you choose a single or dual drive desktop unit or integrate the drive into one of our miSAN iSCSI SAN RAID or D2D2T backup solutions, LTO-5 will deliver the breakthrough backup performance you need now, while providing an upgrade path to 6.4 TB capacity and 540 MB/s speed. It’s also read/write compatible with LTO-4. Cybernetics’ LTO tape solutions are compatible with virtually every host and operating system and are available with features you cannot get anywhere else, including the built in real time status display and iVIEW, which lets you monitor backup jobs from any workstation on the network – or from home. Dual drive configurations can take advantage of the Advanced SCSI Processor for striping, mirroring, cascade, independent, and offline copy verify modes. And used with miSAN, you’ve got a high performance disk-based storage and backup with serverless offload to high capacity LTO. |

The HSTC supports multiple host initiators with independent, bi-directional iSCSI and SCSI interfaces, for virtually limitless configuration possibilities. At disk-to-disk speed, the HSTC writes in parallel, simultaneous data streams to independent virtual tape drives to complete backup within your minimum possible backup window. The Offload feature can launch offline tape archiving to easily create any number of tape copies for local and offsite storage, with absolutely no impact on your network or host operations. The virtual backup tapes will remain cached on disk for as long as you need them, ready for the fastest possible restore. |
