iSAN
V Series
Ultra Fast 10 GbE Virtual Tape Library.
We’re taking Virtual Tape Library performance to the next level with the iSAN V Series. No matter how rapidly your capacity and site requirements are growing, and whether you have – or plan to have – a 10GbE infrastructure,
the iSAN V Series is built to grow with you, delivering truly exceptional performance every step of the way.
This rack-mountable iSCSI backup appliance features 16 inexpensive, ultra fast SATA II drives for 12 to
48 TB capacity and can write data in parallel, simultaneous streams to
16 virtual tape drives and up to
an unlimited number of virtual tapes at speeds of up to 800 MB/s. This performance makes short work of the most demanding
backup applications. Virtual tapes can then be kept in cache for as long as you need them, for near-instantaneous restore. When you’re ready to move data off disk for long term archival storage, the Tape Offload feature will write to removable tape in serverless mode - with absolutely no impact on your host or network operations.
Virtualization gives you centralized control over backup and restore across heterogeneous systems, at your location – and across locations – while maximizing resources and simplifying operations. And with
the iSAN V Series, you not only achieve the benefits of
virtualization, but you get performance that even Fibre Channel can’t touch - at a surprisingly competitive price. |
