The miSAN® V Series combines the incredible speed of disk-to-disk backup with the security of removable tape archives. Using familiar Ethernet components, this D2D2T solution provides enterprise-wide access up to 48 TB for centralized backup and restore – at 300 MB/s. Once installed, you can automate backup to run for days, weeks, or months without operator intervention; even run multiple backup jobs concurrently to independent logical libraries within the VTL. Restore from disk is almost instantaneous.
