iSAN V Series Virtual Tape Library is
powerful, enterprise class backup
appliance delivering up to 32 TB
capacity (up to 64 TB with data
compression) in just 3U of rack space.
Utilizing your existing software,
it consolidates backup across any mix of
operating systems, including legacy SCSI
and SAS host systems.
Writing in parallel data streams
to up to 16 virtual tape drives
simultaneous - with performance of up to
1.2 GB/s – the iSAN V Series is the
ideal choice for the most demanding
backup applications.
With
Cybernetics’ powerful, hashless data
deduplication engine, months of backup
data can be stored in on disk for
immediate restore; and with typical
reduction ratios of 30:1, depending on
type of data, transfer of deduplicated
– and encrypted - data to a remote VTL
is streamlined for disaster recovery and
business continuity.
When you’re ready to move data
off disk for long term archival storage,
the Tape Offload feature will write to
removable tape in serverless mode - with
absolutely no impact on your host or
network operations.
