Cybernetics’ top-of-the line iSAN D Series delivers up to 10 TB
of SAN storage in an ultra slim
1U enclosure. Featuring a combination SSD, SATA, and SAS disk drives, it
provides support for multiple tiered storage sets so you can
configuration a flexible solution that will meet your performance, application, and cost-savings
requirements - now and into the future. With up to 1.2 GB/s performance, and
with optional 10GbE support, the iSAN D Series has what it takes to meet the
most demanding SAN storage and application requirements.
SSD - Tier One Storage
Solid State Disk technology offers compelling advantages in both performance and
efficiency. With non-rotating SSD storage, there is no spin up time or
rotational latency, so speed of read performance and access are
exceptionally fast, making SSD storage a particularly good choice for real-time financial and
scientific data processing and other intensive applications. SSD uses less
energy and is likely to dramatically lower energy
costs – a growing consideration for businesses of all sizes. With the iSAN D Series’ support of
mixed drive types, you can combine SSD, SATA,
and SAS in ways that optimize performance and cost-efficiency.

Like all Cybernetics’ storage solutions, iSAN D Series is build with the
exclusive SANDR engine, providing levels of protection from virtually every
threat to your data, including snapshot backup; portable disk backup;
tape backup; and encrypted, deduplicated WAN replication. Just two rack units of
space will support a pair of fully redundant models with automatic
failover. And because no third party software is required, this is data
protection that will protect the bottom line as well.
