In just 2U, these iSAN D Series models deliver between 8 TB and 16 TB of virtual
storage capacity on SATA or SAS disk drives - and up to
1.2 GB/s performance.
As simple to install as NAS, but with the benefits of a
traditional Fibre Channel SAN, iSAN D Series is the industry’s price-performance winner. Fully
integrated with Cybernetics’ exclusive SANDR Technology, the iSAN D Series
delivers everything you need in a storage and
backup solution, including highly available live storage, layers of data protection with snapshot backup, portable
disk backup, tape backup, and encrypted, deduplicated WAN replication. Since
data protection is accomplished at the disk level, there’s no need for a
dedicated backup server and no need for third party backup software. For high
availability, two units can be configured as master and live replica with
automatic failover – and no single point of failure. iSAN D Series is a
full-featured virtual storage powerhouse.
