This 3U iSAN D Series model provides
48 TB of virtual storage capacity on 16
SATA disk and delivers impressive throughput of up to 1.2 GB per second,
depending on port configuration, and can sustain 400,000 IOPS. With performance
to rival a Fibre Channel SAN, the iSAN D Series is as easy to install as NAS but
delivers all the benefits of storage virtualization, including reduced hardware,
management, and energy costs. Once installed, simply use the intuitive
management interface to allocate capacity across your heterogeneous network.
Like all Cybernetics’ storage solutions, iSAN D Series is built with SANDR
Technology, so it’s fully self-protecting. Snapshot backup, portable disk
backup, tape backup, and encrypted, deduplicated WAN replication are all
provided at the disk storage level – no backup server or third party backup
software required. A pair of iSAN D Series can be configured as master and live
replica, with failover, for high availability with no single point of failure.
