With Cybernetics' iSAN^® V Series and its powerful, hashless data deduplication engine, months of backup data can be stored to disk for immediate restore; and with typical reduction ratios of 50:1, depending on type of data, transfer of deduplicated – and encrypted – data to a remote VTL is streamlined for disaster recovery and business continuity. When you're ready to move data off disk for long term archival storage, the Tape Offload feature will write to removable tape in serverless mode – with absolutely no impact on your host or network operations.
